Representatives of the Sevastopol Cossacks have launched an initiative to create a monument in the city to the 'Russian Spring', Vice Governor of Sevastopol Yevgeny Dubovik said.
"There is an idea, but there is no specific sketch. It is necessary to conduct a survey among Sevastopol citizens on this issue. I think the authorities will support this initiative. In theory, it would be appropriate to erect a monument on Nakhimov Square, but it is a sacred place for us, there is only one monument – to Pavel Stepanovich Nakhimov," TASS quoted Dubovik as saying.
