Seven people, including children, were poisoned with rat poison in the Stavropol region, one child died, the office of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the region reported.
The emergency situation occurred in the village of Tikhy in the Budennovskiy district. The rescuers received a call at 13.44 Moscow time.
"As a result of the accident, seven people were poisoned - two adults and five children - four children were hospitalized, one died,” RIA Novosti reports.
The victims were hospitalized to the Central District Hospital of the Budennovskiy district.
