Several villages were damaged by hail in eastern Georgia, the Georgian media reported.
According to preliminary data, damage was caused to agricultural land located in three villages of Kakheti: Ikalto, Ruispiri and Vardisubani.
The amount of damage is still unknown. However, farmers note that the hail, which lasted about 15 minutes, primarily damaged annual and perennial crops, as well as some vineyards.
According to weather forecasters, in Georgia there will be hail showers with strong winds until June 16.
