Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Shahin Mustafayev, speaking at the Azerbaijani-Hungarian business forum today, has proposed an initiative on the opening of a joint venture for the production of medicines.
Trend writes that it will operate on the territory of Azerbaijan. The fact is that at the moment the republic imports 135 kinds of medicines from Hungary, which could be produced in Azerbaijan. Mustafayev also noted the opportunities for expansion of cooperation in this field.
The Minister pointed to the potential for trilateral contacts between Azerbaijan and Hungary and Iran. "The removal of sanctions against Iran allows us to consider joint activities in this country," Shahin Mustafayev said.
