The solemn ceremony dedicated to the 85th birth anniversary of the National Artist of Azerbaijan, actor Rasim Ojagov took place in the Azerbaijani city of Sheki.
As part of the event, flowers were laid at the bas-relief of Rasim Ojagov in the territory of the city ring Guyumlyar. The event was attended by city leaders, family members, friends and colleagues of the master, guests invited to the anniversary event, as well as famous figures of culture and art.
After that, the opening of the Sheki Center for Children and Youth Creativity named after Rasim Ojagov took place. The main objective of the children's photo studio, which will operate at the center, is to increase children's interest in this type of art. The building also has offices for practicing music, painting, folk arts and crafts, dance and exhibition halls.
