An earthquake took place today in Karachay-Cherkessia, the magnitude of which reached 3.5, the European-Mediterranean seismological centre reported.
The earthquake was registered at 13:47 approximately 9.5 km southwest of the village of Nizhny Arkhyz. The epicenter of the quake was located at a depth of 1 km.
There is no information about victims or damage there, YUGA reports.
