The Russian Defense Minister, Sergey Shoigu, has sent his condolences to his French counterpart, Jean-Yves Le Drianu, in connection with the terrorist attacks that took place last night in Paris.
"I express my deepest condolences to the French people, the families and friends of those who died in the series of monstrous acts of terrorism in Paris. We strongly condemn these brutal murders," the message of the Minister reads.
"Events in the French capital have confirmed the need to coordinate efforts in the fight against terrorism in all of its forms," RIA Novosti quotes Shoigu as saying.
