Russian and Turkish Defense Ministers Sergey Shoigu and Hulusi Akar held telephone talks during which they discussed the situation in Ukraine.
"During the talks, the current situation in Ukraine, including humanitarian issues, was discussed", the Russian Defense Ministry informs.
It is specified that the conversation took place on the Turkish side's initiative.
