Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu has met with Defense Minister of Syria Fahedom Jassem Al-Frege, the Russian Defense Ministry reports.
"The parties discussed issues of Russian-Syrian military and military-technical cooperation. Results of the Russian operation in Syria aimed at destroying terrorist groups were were summed up at the meeting," RIA Novosti cites the service.
Shoigu and Al Frege confirmed bilateral plans to further extend cooperation and exchanged views on current security issues in the Middle East.
