Emergency telephone negotiations between Russian Minister of Defense, Sergey Shoigu, and his counterparts from Azerbaijan and Armenia have been held.
During the conversation with Zakir Hasanov and Seyran Ohanyan, the head of the Russian Defense Ministry discussed the escalation of the situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone.
The Ministers discussed the need for urgent measures to stabilize the situation in the conflict zone, RIA Novosti reported.
