Sochi authorities are creating the first information center that will consider all the wishes of citizens and tourists. The first result of the center’s activities will be a mobile application with the sightseeing routes and points of interest, which will start working in April, Deputy Mayor Sergei Yurchenko said.
"A navigation system will be created for all pedestrian routes, as well as a multilingual tourist portal that will allow every tourist to get comprehensive information on the city sights," Yurchenko explained, RIA Novosti reports.
The principle of the app is simple - tourists will be able to download a program that will take them along the route, according to the QR code on the tour guides, which are placed throughout the city, Yurchenko said.
