Command-and-staff exercises of the signal corps have started at 35 landfills of the Southern Military District. About 1500 units of military and special equipment, including modern digital radio, radio relay, tropospheric and satellite stations and communication facilities are involved in the exercises.
The drills will last until March 12, RIA Novosti reports.
