The Russian side declared a silence regime and created humanitarian corridors through which residents of Mariupol and Volnovakha can leave, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports.
"Today, on March 5, from 10 a.m. Moscow time, the Russian side declares a silence regime and opens humanitarian corridors for the civilians from Mariupol and Volnovakha," TASS quotes the message of the ministry.
The Russian Defense Ministry adds that humanitarian corridors and exit routes had been agreed with Kiev.
