The Russian Ministry of Finance proposes to set excise taxes on harmful products from July 1st of this year, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov stated on the sidelines of the 'United Russia' party congress.
"Yes, we want to introduce it in the second half of the year. We are working on this issue [on the amount]. This is a measure that is used in many countries aimed at reducing the consumption of harmful products, and, on the other hand, at increasing the income of the treasury," TASS quotes him as saying.
