First Deputy Prime Minister Minister of Finance of Russia Anton Siluanov promised to deal with insurance companies that refuse to insure goods in Dagestan.
According to a local entrepreneur who addressed the minister during a meeting on national projects in Makhachkala, transport companies state that they "do not go to Dagestan because insurers do not cooperate with them". He noted that this problem is faced not only in Dagestan but in other regions as well.
