Precious metals prices have set new records: silver is trading at $75 per ounce, and platinum at $2,450, respectively, according to the trading results.
During the trading session, silver for March delivery surged 4.25% to settle at $74.73 per ounce, after briefly touching a record high of $75.50. Meanwhile, January platinum futures rose to $2,450.7.
