Silver futures with the settlement in March 2026 climbed above $67 per Troy ounce to a new record, according to market data.
The precious metal surged by 5.88% to $67.045 per Troy ounce. Prices retreated later to $66.95 per Troy ounce, up 5.73%.
Gold futures with delivery in next February gained 0.89% at the same time to $4,370.9 per Troy ounce.
