‘’On September 13th 2015 over 10.7 thousand elections, referendums and local polls will be held in 83 regions of the Russian Federation. Over 92 thousand posts and seats on regional and municipal levels will be replaced in the elections of all levels. More than 59 million voters are included on the electoral roll. The election will take place at 57.6 thousand polling stations, with elections to bodies of state power of subjects of the Russian Federation and local government administrative centers (capitals) of the Russian Federation to take place at more than 37.5 thousand polling stations," the press service of the CEC reports.
The head of federation subjects is chosen today in 21 regions. Krasnodar Territory is among them. The Acting Governor Veniamin Kondratyev, Nikolai Osadchiy, Viktor Ponomarev, Andrey Rudenko and Sergey Fisyuk, who are put forward respectively by ‘Edinaya Rossia’, the Communist Party, the Party of Social Protection, ‘A Fair Russia’ and the Liberal Democratic Party, are going to compete for the post.
Today voters are choosing regional legislatures in 11 subjects of the federation.
Deputies at municipal levels are also being chosen today. The Legislative Assembly of the administrative centers will be formed in 23 regions at the end of the day. Magas and Krasnodar are among them. In addition, municipal elections will be held today in Dagestan, Chechnya, Ingushetia, Karachaevo-Cherkessia, Adygeya, Crimea, Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories and Sevastopol.
The heads of a number of rural settlements will also be elected today in Adygeya, Krasnodar and Stavropol Territory.
Voting won’t be held today in only two regions of the country – Kabardino-Balkaria and North Ossetia.
The polling stations, as always, will run from 08:00 to 20:00 in all 83 federal subjects covered by the single voting day.
