The head of EU diplomacy Federica Mogherini stated that Montenegro, Albania, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Ukraine have joined the prolonged EU economic sanctions against Russia.

"The candidate countries for EU membership Montenegro and Albania, as well as members of the European Free Trade Association Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, members of the European Economic Area, as well as Ukraine align themselves with this statement. They will provide compliance of their national policies with the decision of the Council," RIA News cites Mogherini.
