Ski resorts in North Caucasus won't levy resort tax

The Ministry of the North Caucasus is not planning to distribute a pilot project to introduce a tourist tax in respect of ski resorts in the region, the head of Minkavkaza Lev Kuznetsov said today.

According to him, the pilot project will affect only Caucasian Mineralniye Vody.

"The tax will be levied from hotels and places of tourists' residence," Tass cites Kuznetsov as saying.
