Slovakian Foreign Ministry doubts the existence of European borders

At a government session, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovakia, Miroslav Lajcak, doubted the existence of the Schengen borders.

"In fact, the Schengen Zone has ceased to exist," the Foreign Minister stated. He added that the countries that have to guard the route into the Schengen Zone quietly let migrants pass across their borders.

"Under normal circumstances it is difficult to obtain a Schengen visa, and now tens of thousands of people are coming here, and nobody controls them. Do we have a network of Schengen or not?" Lajcak asked.

At the same time, the Minister stated that Slovakia does not support quotas for migrants. According to him, Hungary and the Czech Republic also do not support Angela Merkel on this issue, TASS reports.
