Today, Armenia's Emergency Situations Ministry reported about the ban on car traffic on some roads due to heavy snowfall and sleet. In particular, the Berd-Chambarak road and the Vardenyats pass are closed, movement on the Sotq-Karvachar road is difficult.
As RIA Novosti writes, heavy snowfall continues in the cities of Hrazdan, Charentsavan, Yeghvard (Kotayk region), Sevan (Gegharkunik), Sisian and Meghri (Syunik), Jermuk (Vayots Dzor), as well as in the communities of Amasia and Ashotsk (Shirak).
