A minor earthquake struck Sochi on the afternoon of April 20, according to data published by the Kuban Center for Monitoring and Forecasting Natural and Man-Made Emergencies.
The tremor registered a magnitude of 3.7 and occurred at 1:34 PM Moscow time. Its hypocenter was located a depth of 6.5 kilometers.
No damage was caused by the earthquake, according to the Krasnodar Krai emergency response headquarters. The headquarters added that infrastructure in Sochi is operating normally.
