Police officers in Sochi are working in an emergency mode due to the difficult weather conditions, the press service of the Interior Ministry in Krasnodar Territory reports.
"Due to the bad weather conditions and heavy rains in the city of Sochi, staff are constantly monitoring the level of rivers and reservoirs, as well as providing assistance to citizens who find themselves in difficult situations. Groups of the PPS, DPS and private security are concentrated near places prone to flooding and ready to assist evacuating people in case of emergency," RIA Novosti quotes the press service statement.
