Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has said at the opening of the general debate of the 70th General Assembly of the United Nations that the solidarity of the permanent members of the UN Security Council in respect of the Iranian nuclear program should be directed in order to resolve conflicts in other countries.
‘‘I approve the reached historic agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the six countries.’’ I hope that this spirit of solidarity among the permanent members of the UN Security Council can be demonstrated in other conflict areas such as Syria, Yemen and Ukraine,’’ RIA Novosti cites Ban Ki-moon.
