Sony Pictures is suspending operations in Russia due to the situation in Ukraine, Variety reports, citing a statement to employees by Sony Pictures Entertainment CEO Tony Vinciquerra.
According to the statement, the corporation supports "many companies around the world that have currently suspended their activities in Russia."
The company has postponed digital releases of projects, in particular, the Spider-Man. No way home movie and also froze deals on the distribution of content on television. In addition, users from Russia have limited access to the Crunchyroll anime service.
