A counterterrorism operation regime (CTO) has been introduced in an area between settlements in the Khasavyurt district of Dagestan this morning, a representative of the operational headquarters of the National Anti-terrorism Committee of the republic reported.
"At 06.30, a CTO regime was introduced in the villages of New Kurush, Sadovoe and Batayurt in the Khasavyurt District of Dagestan, as well as in the area between the villages. Actions to find and eliminate militants are underway," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
According to the NAC representative, the main task of the CTO participants is the search for terrorists and their accomplices.
