Georgia's Minister of Health, Labor, and Social Affairs Davit Sergeenko hosted the delegation from South Korea.
During the meeting, representatives of South Korean delegation expressed readiness to assist Georgia in development of transplantology.
South Korean doctors will be involved in teaching and preparation of surgeons as well as performing operations.
Two memorandums of cooperation will be signed within the framework of the visit, 1tv.ge reported.
According to the World Health Organization, South Korea is recognized as being one of the leading countries in performing transplantation surgeries.
