Southern Iran hit by earthquake

An earthquake measuring 5.5 magnitude struck the Southern Iran region on March 5, the German Research Centre for Geosciences reported.

The quake was recorded at 04:20 GMT at a depth of 10 km.

No victims or injuries were reported.
