The Servicemen of the 49th Army of the Southern Military District (SMD), deployed in the Kuban and Stavropol Territory, will prepare over 6,000 weapons and military equipment to the summer operation regime, the head of the press service of South Ossetia, Colonel Vadim Astafyev reported.
"T-72B3 tanks, the armored personnel carriers BTR-82A , multi-purpose tractors, self-propelled howitzers Msta-S, Tornado-G multiple rocket fire systems, operational missile systems Iskander-M will be prepared for the new training period, which will begin on June 1, Astafyev said.
