The Azerbaijani Youth and Sports Minister, Azad Rahimov, spoke about the budget for the Formula 1 European Grand Prix in Baku in 2016.
"12 million manats have been spent on upgrading the six-kilometer road. And $30 million will be spent on the pitstop building," he said, adding that "the government is trying not to create any problems for the capital’s residents during the preparations".
Azerbaijan will host the Formula 1 European Grand Prix in June for the first time. It is expected that the Baku circuit for the F1 will be the fastest, Trend reports.
