St. Petersburg to host UEFA Champions League final match

The 68,000-capacity Gazprom Arena in Russia’s St. Petersburg has been chosen as the venue for the final match of the UEFA Champions League 2020/21, President of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), the governing body of football in Europe, Aleksander Ceferin said.

Russia hosted the UEFA Champions League final games two times, in 1999 and in 2008, both in Moscow, TASS recalls.

The 70,000-seat Allianz Arena in Munich will be a host venue for Euro 2020, while the 2023 final will be held at London's Wembley.
