Work on preparing projects for building standardized schools is being carried out now in the Krasnodar Territory. It will allow significant budget funds to be saved during their construction, the governor of the region Veniamin Kondratyev said after a meeting of the State Council held in Moscow by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"We have adopted a program to develop draft standardized schools. They will be of several types with regard to the settlement and the number of children,'' Interfax reports.
They are designed for 400, 550, 825 and 1100 pupils.
