State Department spokesman Joshua Baker said today that Washington is not even considering the possibility of a ground operation of the international coalition in Syria. The United States has no such plans.
"I think that the US Secretary of State meant the possibility of a ground operation on the part of other countries. We have all seen the statement of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. But according to President Obama, the United States had no plans for a ground operation in Syria,’’ Interfax cites him as saying.
