State Department: Tehran may become key partner in Syrian settlement

According to Washington, Iran may become the ‘key partner’ in the settlement of the Syrian conflict. This was stated by the US State Department spokesman John Kirby, responding to a briefing on relevant questions.

Earlier today, Tehran was invited for talks on Syria, which are to be held in Vienna on October 29th.
