The head of the US State Department, Mike Pompeo, and Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Cavushoglu held a telephone conversation, during which they discussed the situation in Syria and the withdrawal of American troops from the SAR, the deputy official representative of the State Department, Robert Palladino said.
“They agreed on the importance of continuing consultations between the United States and Turkey as part of a deliberate and coordinated withdrawal of the US troops from Syria,” RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.
