Turkish National Defense Minister Yasar Guler and US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin held a phone call on October 29.
The sides discussed bilateral and regional defense and security issues, the Turkish National Defense Ministry said.
According to the Pentagon, the U.S. and Türkiye are maintaining an open line of communication as being two allies.
