President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree to create the State Security Service and Foreign Intelligence Service of Azerbaijan.
The decision was made to increase the effectiveness of work of security services and to improve the structure of public administration.
These services must present the draft regulations, proposals on the structure and number of employees to Azerbaijan’s president within a month.
The Cabinet of Ministers was instructed to ensure the financing of activities of the services with the funds allocated to the Ministry of National Security from the state budget for 2015 and 2016, as well as to resolve the material and technical maintenance issues, Trend reports.
