State of emergency in France may be extended up to three months

French President Francois Hollande has offered the parliament to amend the law on state of emergency in the country.

It refers to an extension 12 days term, after which the state of emergency can only be continued with the help of the adoption of a special law by the Parliament, up to three months, Gazeta.ru reports.
