The Stavropol Territory's authorities intend to compensate the costs of farms for the purchase of young cattle. This is stated in a message published on the Telegram channel of the head of the region.
It is planned to allocate about 242 million rubles from the regional budget for these purposes this year.
Vladimir Vladimirov promised that farms would be able to receive half of the amount spent on the purchase of animals. He drew attention to the fact that since January 1 of this year, 3.4 thousand heads of breeding dairy cows had been purchased thanks to subsidies.
According to the regional Ministry of Agriculture, there are currently over 132 thousand cows in farms of all categories in the Stavropol Territory.
