Salaries of public sector specialists in Stavropol Krai will increase by 20% in 2026. The decision was made at a meeting of a special commission.

The Stavropol Krai government announced a salary increase for public sector workers in 2026. A 20% indexation of payments is expected.

The initiative was put forward by Stavropol trade unions. The decision to increase salaries was also influenced by negative dynamics in the labor market. In the past two years, public sector specialists' salaries in the region have not been indexed. This has led to an outflow of labor to other regions of the country. Tatyana Chechina, head of the regional trade union federation, stated that this measure is a necessary one.
