Steppe Eagle 2016 peacekeeping drills kick off in Kazakhstan

The first stage of the Steppe Eagle 2016 international tactical peacekeeping exercises kicked off in Kazakhstan.

The Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan said that more than 60 peacekeepers from the United States and the United Kingdom are taking part in the event.

The second phase of the exercise will be held in the UK. 250 soldiers of Kazbat will take part in the second stage, RIA Novosti cited the ministry as saying.
