NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that the alliance is able and ready to defend all allies, including Turkey, against any threat.
He said that NATO is "constantly assessing the situation with the Turkish government".
"We will continue to stay in close contact with them, and constantly assess if there is a need for something more," RIA Novosti cited Stoltenberg as saying.
