Stoltenberg: NATO countries to increase defense spending

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg expects NATO members to make clear commitments in 2023 to increase defense spending.

"I expect that next year at the Vilnius summit NATO allies will make clear commitments to increase investment in the defense sector", he told Politico.

Stoltenberg further noted that it was still too early to say what terms the NATO countries would agree to.
