NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that allies should provide the necessary resources to Georgia and Ukraine as the Black Sea region is important for the Alliance.
He stressed that NATO is working with both Georgia and Ukraine. "And I urge Allies to provide the necessary resources, personnel, to make sure that we step up and provide more practical support," Agenda.ge cited Stoltenberg as saying.
"That’s the purpose of the NATO presence in Georgia, help to modernise their defence and security institutions," the NATO chief said in Brussels.
