Storm warning expected in Sochi

A storm warning was announced in Sochi today due to heavy rains, the press service of the administration of Sochi said.

"Today and till 18:00 on October 25, heavy rains and thunderstorms are predicted in Sochi. Gusts may reach 14 m/s and up to 17 m/s in the Lazarevsky district,"  TASS cited the press service as saying.

According to forecasts, there is also danger of avalanches at heights of above 1500 m.
