Substation supplying mountainous areas to be expanded in Dagestan

According to the Telegram channel of Rosseti PJSC, specialists have begun work on expanding the 110 kV Gunib substation in Dagestan.

"Modernization will improve the reliability and quality of power supply to residents, as well as the Republican children's sanatorium "Gunib", the tourist complex "Eagle's Nest", and the memorial "White Cranes"",

the press service of the energy company said.

They emphasized that as part of the modernization of the facility, it is planned to install a new power transformer.

"Rosseti Northern Caucasus specialists will install a new 25 MVA power transformer at the site, which will increase the total capacity by 1.5 times — up to 45 MVA",
 

PJSC Rosseti said.

This substation provides electricity to 40 settlements located in the mountainous regions of the republic and a number of tourist sites.
