The Head of the Dagestan government, Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov, spoke about plans to build a railway along which suburban trains will run to Chechnya.
He stated that the republic's leadership now intends to build a railway that will connect the airport with the town of Dagestanskiye Ogni and Derbent.
According to Abdulmuslimov, suburban trains will transport residents and guests of the republic on this route.
In addition to this, he added that it was planned to build a road from the airport to the border with Chechnya.
