State Duma Deputy Khizri Abakarov announced the help of Russian businessman and senator from Dagestan, Suleiman Kerimov, to the families of those killed in the militant attack on Makhachkala and Derbent.
He said that Kerimov would pay five million rubles to the relatives of those killed in the terrorist attacks. In addition to this, those injured during the terrorist attack will also receive assistance.
Abakarov also recalled that the senator would cover all costs of restoring the synagogue and church in Derbent, which were heavily damaged as a result of those events.
Previously, the Dagestani leadership allocated 50 million rubles to pay the families of those killed and wounded in the terrorist attack.

21 people became victims of these terrorist attacks. The rector of the Derbent Orthodox church, the priest Nikolay Kotelnikov, was among them.
