The President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Suma Chakrabarti, will visit Azerbaijan in June. Chakrabarti informed about it during a meeting with Azerbaijan’s economy minister Shahin Mustafayev in London, the ministry said.
Chakrabarti noted that he attaches great importance to cooperation with Azerbaijan and supports the ongoing reforms in the country.
"The measures being taken in Azerbaijan are very important and positive," Trend cited him as saying.
The Azerbaijani Economy minister, in his turn, said that the business and investment opportunities of Azerbaijan will be presented to investors within the framework of the EBRD regular annual meeting on May 11-12 in London.
